Tampa law firm with eight attorneys joins national practice

National law firm Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP announced Monday it is absorbing Tampa-based law firm Walters Levine & DeGrave, taking on its eight attorneys and 11 staff members.

With offices in Tampa and Sarasota, Walters Levine & DeGrave specialized in civil litigation, construction and real estate and estate planning law. By taking on the team, Hahn Loeser now has four offices in Florida, in Tampa, Sarasota, Fort Myers and Naples. The firm also has offices in Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus and San Diego.

For 105 years, these have been the hallmarks of Hahn Loeser’s service to its clients.”

The expansion means Walter Levine’s managing shareholders will join Hahn Loeser as “partners.” They are Stuart Jay Levine, Joel W. Walters and Heather A Degrave. 

Levine practices in the areas of business litigation, specializing in construction and commercial litigation and consumer debt collections. He will serve as Partner-in-Charge of the Tampa office. 

Walters is board certified in business litigation in Florida and practices in the areas of business litigation, health care, construction, insurance, real property disputes and construction defects. He will serve as Partner-in-Charge of the Sarasota office. 

DeGrave practices in the areas of construction, commercial collections and business litigation.

Hahn Loeser will also gain five new attorneys — Paul Fischel,  Alan Gonzalez, Robert Pretschner, Warren Ross and Mishka Garcia.
