JetBlue Airways is adding more Florida flights this winter, with some tickets as low as $49.
The new flights announced Thursday are scheduled to begin in December, with some routes ending in April 2026. The expanded service includes flights connecting Daytona Beach and Vero Beach to Boston and New York, as well as new routes to the Dominican Republic from Tampa and Fort Lauderdale.
The airline says it will add a new, daily, year-round flight from Tampa International Airport to Punta Cana and a seasonal flight from Fort Lauderdale to Santiago de los Caballeros, both in the Dominican Republic, with fares starting at $139. Flights to Punta Cana begin Dec. 18 and flights to Santiago de los Caballeros will run daily from Dec. 13 to Jan. 19.
Tampa and Fort Myers will also offer new weekly seasonal flights to Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip, New York, with fares starting at $49. Flights from Tampa will run four times a week from Dec. 19 to April 29 and Fort Myers flights will run three times a week from Dec. 18 to April 28.
The airline already offers nonstop service from Long Island to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and West Palm Beach.
Based in New York, JetBLue flies to more than 100 cities in the U.S. and offers international flights to Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe.
“Florida continues to be a place JetBlue’s unique combination of low fared and great service resonates, and we’re proud to grow our footprint with these new destinations to meet customer demand for more of the Sunshine State,” says Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships in a statement.
“Whether it’s customers in the Northeast looking for a warm getaway or Floridians traveling north, we’re excited to bring more choices and better service to these markets,” the statement says.
