Allegiant Travel Co., which announced five new regional flights last week, is at it again.

The Las Vegas airline says it is adding several more new routes, including flights originating at St. Pete Clearwater International Airport and Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.

The new St. Pete-Clearwater route will be to — and from — Huntsville International Airport in Alabama. Flights will begin March 5.

The Sarasota-Bradenton route will connect the area to Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport in Rochester, New York. Flights begin Feb. 13.

Just last week Allegiant said it would launch three routes out of Southwest Florida International Airport as well as adding flights at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and Punta Gorda Airport, where it already has an established presence.

“Adding a new route to Rochester not only strengthens our ties to the Northeast, but also continues to provide our passengers convenient, nonstop travel options,” Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport President and CEO Rick Piccolo says in a news release.

The low-fare airline focuses on linking small-to-medium-sized cities with top vacation destinations.
