An LLC tied to a Kentucky Ford dealer has bought 0.9-acre parcel of waterfront property in Captiva.

The official buyer is Parkway Properties, an Illinois LLC, with an address matching O’Brien Ford in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

Joseph D. O’Brien Jr. bought the property at 11411/11421 Dickey Lane from four separate entitles for $6.1 million. It is on the east side of the barrier island off of Captiva Drive.

The Fort Myers commercial real estate firm LSI Cos. announced the sale and provided a photo of the property. The aerial photo, which outlines the parcel along Dickey Lane, shows there are several structures on it.

Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s The Burns Family Team, which represented Parkway in the deal, says O'Brien plans to build three homes on the property either for his daughters or to sell.

Jeff and Tiffany Burns represented Parkway. LSI’s Justin Thibaut and Laura Cari represented the seller.

This story has been updated to include O'Brien's plans.
