Tampa retail center near Raymond James Stadium sells for $5 million

Fountain Plaza, a Tampa retail center, has been sold to a local commercial real estate development and property management firm.

The center is at 2800 N. MacDill Ave. at Columbus Drive, about a six-minute walk from Raymond James Stadium.

The buyer, Landmarc Realty, paid $5 million for the center. The seller was Brusa Inc. which, according to Hillsborough County property records, paid $300,400 for it in 1988.

Fountain Plaza is 25,191 square feet with a tenant mix that includes Insurance Direct, Taqueria Emanuel Tacos, Midtown Nutrition, Abuelos Adult Day Care, Forever Ink Tattoos, New Age Reprographics, Platinum Zipper, ABC Home Care, the Law Office of Matthew S. Przybycin, Valiano Boutique and Westside Barbershop & Shave Lounge. The property is 1.9 acres and has a 71% occupancy rate.

Tampa-based Landmarc specializes in commercial real estate development, property management, investment, sales, brokerage and consulting services according to its website.

Landmarc has hired Avison Young to manage the leasing on the property.

The firm’s Michael T. Fay, John K. Crotty, David Duckworth. Brian C. de la Fé, Nick Robinson, Nick Mastro and Philip Shapiro arranged the sale for Brusa.

Mastro and Robinson will lead the leasing efforts for Landmarc.
