Brandon apartment owners borrow $32 million

The owners of 228-unit apartment complex in Brandon have refinanced the property.

Robbins Property Associates and Hartford Investment Management Company took out the $32.41 million financing on the Lakeside Central apartments in the Tampa suburb.

The Freddie Mac-backed loan is for five years with fixed-rate with 70% loan to value, says Berkadia which secured the financing.

Berkadia also arranged the acquisition financing through Freddie Mack when Robbins and Hartford bought the community in 2018 for $30 million.

Lakeside Central was built in 1985. The community, at 529 S. Parsons Ave., has one- and two-bedroom units that range from 600 square feet to 900 square feet.

Berkadia’s Mitch Sinberg, Scott Wadler, Brad Williamson and Hugo Hernandez of Berkadia secured the financing.
