A Naples construction company is preparing to begin work this summer on two affordable housing developments, one in Naples and another in Fort Myers, that will bring a total of more than 300 affordable housing units to the area. DeAngelis Diamond estimates the combined construction value is $75 million.
McDowell Housing, based in Miami, is the parent company developing both projects.
In South Naples, Ekos Creekside will be a seven-story residential building accompanied by a clubhouse. It will provide 160 affordable housing apartments, southeast of the intersection of Collier Boulevard and Henderson Creek Drive.
