Longtime John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate broker and executive Corey McCloskey has been named president of the firm.

McCloskey’s tenure with the company spans 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as executive vice president of operations, according to a statement. Outside the firm, she’s been involved in several leadership roles with the Naples Area Board of Realtors and other organizations. She was NABOR president in 2021 and the organization’s Realtor of the year in 2023. McCloskey was also district five vice president with the Florida Association of Realtors in 2022, the release states.

Wood Christie’s International Real Estate CEO Phil Wood says in the release. “As she begins this new role, I have full confidence in her ability to lead with integrity, drive and innovation. I look forward to our continued collaboration and success."

McCloskey began her real estate career in 2003. She was named project coordinator at John R. Wood in 2011 and director of career development in 2017.

John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate, founded in 1958, is the oldest major real estate brokerage in Southwest Florida. It has more than 850 agents and staff in 23 offices. That includes 23 agents it brought on in January and February, according to a separate news release.
