PR agency announces promotion, new hire

Local public relations agency One Eight Oh PR recently promoted Kate De Michieli to director of public relations. 

In wake of the promotion, the firm also brought on Suzanne Bokish to fill the role of social media coordinator. One Eight Oh PR is based in Sarasota and Denver, CO.

De Michieli, a Sarasota native, has been with the firm since 2018 as a PR and social media coordinator. As the director, she’ll now oversee public relations and account management activities. 

“Kate has been an integral part in our firm’s growth and success since she joined the team five years ago,” President Candice Brown-McElyea says in a release. “Her level of professionalism and dedication to client success has helped our agency gain accolades and press coverage for clients across the country, and she is an enormous asset to our team.”

Bokish will be responsible for social media content creation for numerous clients as well as strategic campaign launches.
