While busy with the construction of a new showroom, Clive Daniel Home has announced yet another thing to add to the to-do list: a new distribution center.

Construction on the 175,000-square-foot building is already underway with plans to be complete by September. The new center will be located in Fort Myers, according to a statement. It was announced about three months after the company released plans to add a fourth showroom

The furniture design company, which specializes in furnishings and custom residential and commercial interior design services, currently operates three other warehouses in Fort Myers. Once the new warehouse is up and running, those three will cease in operations. The new warehouse is expected to double the current inventory capacity.

“We have numerous local, national, and international projects, so it’s crucial for us to be able to store and move large volumes of product in a quick and efficient manner,” Daniel Lubner, Clive Daniel Home’s CEO, says in the statement. “We want a facility that will match our 10-year growth plans and support our logistics teams—the unsung heroes of our business—as they fulfill the needs of our clients and designers.”

The new facility will include features such as a photo studio, team member break rooms and locker rooms, and corporate offices for the merchandising team.

CDH was originally founded in 2011 by Lubner and his father, Clive, with a showroom in Naples. Since then, the company has opened showrooms in Boca Raton and Sarasota. The fourth showroom, which will be located in Fort Myers, is expected to open this fall.
