The Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers has elected Erin Jackson, a founding partner of Tampa law firm Jackson Jackson PLLC, as its president for 2022-23.
HAWL, according to a news release, is Hillsborough County’s chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and is dedicated to promoting gender equality in the legal profession. Jackson is a 10-year veteran of the organization and previously served as secretary, vice president of membership and vice president of programs.
“I am grateful to be able to serve our approximately 300 members and am honored to follow the incredible lineup of women who have led HAWL,” Jackson states in the release. “We endeavor to be one of the most active and supportive voluntary bar associations in the state as we are committed to our mission of promoting gender equality under the law. HAWL provides its members with opportunities to participate in creative programming, and we take pride in the engagement of our membership.”
