Publix-anchored center in Babcock Ranch nears 100% occupancy

Publix was the first store, opening in September.

A Publix-anchored shopping center in Babcock Ranch is nearly fully leased, according to the developers behind the project.

The 83,487-square-foot shopping center, Crescent B Commons, is 98% occupied, according to a press release. Since the September 2021 opening of its first tenant — Publix — Crescent B Commons has been joined by resident-owned restaurants Pi Local Pizza and M’xuma Tacos Mexican Grill as well as Publix Liquors, Clover Nails & Spa and The Postal Place Pack & Ship. More businesses are expected to open in the coming months. The developer of Babcock Ranch, which straddles Lee and Charlotte counties and is billed as America’s first solar powered town, is Palm Beach Gardens-based Kitson & Partners.
