Naples law firm names new managing partner

National law firm Quarles & Brady named Benjamin Brown office managing partner of the firm’s Naples office. The move was effective June 27.

Brown succeeds Kelly Davis, who is pursuing an in-house counsel role with a global health care company, according to a statement. Brown, who joined Quarles & Brady in 2006 and will continue his full-time practice, is the Florida chair of the firm’s commercial litigation practice group, the release adds.

“Ben’s strong roots both in Florida and with our firm make him the ideal choice to accelerate the momentum we’ve established with our Naples office,” Quarles & Brady managing partner Mike Aldana says in the release. “He has demonstrated his leadership ability in a variety of ways in recent years, from spurring growth of our litigation practice in Florida to the way he helps newer attorneys grow and develop.”
