Florida furniture retailer puts 35 stores, three distribution centers and HQ on the market

Badcock Furniture is selling 2.2 million square feet of property with plans to lease it back from new owners.

POLK COUNTY — Badcock Home Furniture is selling 42 properties, including its Mulberry headquarters and a 371,240-square-foot distribution center less than a mile away, with the intention of leasing them back from new owners.

The 2.2 million-square-foot portfolio, according to the online listing from B. Riley Real Estate in Los Angeles, includes 35 retail stores, three distribution centers and the multibuilding headquarters.

The listing says the company will consider offers for the entire portfolio or individual properties.
