Airport names new official for fixed-base operations

NAPLES — Aviation industry veteran Byron Gray has been named director of FBO Services at the Naples Airport, a newly created position.

Gray will direct and plan all FBO (fixed base operator) activities, including customer relations, aircraft servicing, ground handling, office/flight support facilities and ramp management associated with flight activities, according to a statement. Gray stepped into the role in December, as the Naples Airport Authority completes its $7 million general aviation terminal remodel.
