Fort Myers airport: March was busiest month ever

More than 1.5 million people traveled through Southwest Florida International Airport last month.

In an era of airport passenger traffic records made and then quickly broken, Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers is the latest to score a new mark: The 1,514,046 passengers who traveled through the airport in March set an all-time monthly record for the airport, under the call letters RSW.
