Synovus leasing nearly 17,000 square feet at Water Street in Tampa

The Georgia bank will open a branch and move some operations to new Tampa development late this year.

Synovus will open a new branch and moves some operations to the Water Street district in Tampa.

The Georgia-based bank has leased 16,568 square feet at the Thousand & One and Asher buildings, according the project's director. A 2,334-square-foot bank branch, Synovus’ 16th in the market, will open in Asher, a residential tower, and 14,234 square feet in the Thousand & One will be used for corporate offices.
