The organizers of Market Trends of Southwest Florida have scheduled its next event for Sept. 9, to address what experts are calling a “historic year” in real estate for the region.

The semi-annual summit — the first in-person event since 2019 stemming from of the pandemic — will be held starting at 4 p.m. at the Caloosa Sound Convention Center and Amphitheater in Fort Myers. Attendees also will be able to participate virtually.

The event’s featured speakers will be LSI Cos.’ founder and CEO Randy Thibaut; LSI President Justin Thibaut; and Keller Williams Realty’s Denny Grimes.

Market Trends, which presents a statistical look at the residential and commercial real estate industries and recent phenomenon shaping them, is presented by LSI, the Lee Building Industry Association and the Collier Building Industry Association. The event comes amid record surges in single-family home prices, permitting growth and a shrinkage of available inventory throughout the three-county Southwest Florida region.
