Cancer network names pair of executives

Network continues its national expansion.

FORT MYERS — American Oncology Network, an alliance of cancer physicians and seasoned health care leaders in community oncology, recently announced a pair of key leadership appointments: Longtime marketing and sales executive Shelly Glenn has been named Chief Growth and Relationship Officer and laboratory management official Curtiss McNair has been named vice president of laboratory services.

In her newly created role, Glenn will work with Fort Myers-based AON management and practice leadership to “ensure the organization continues to create and deliver differentiated services and capabilities, as well as gain market leadership,” according to a statement. Glenn will also oversee referral base management and physician recruitment, the release adds. Prior to joining AON, Glenn was chief development and community partnership officer at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, where she oversaw critical growth initiatives as well as efforts to strengthen patient advocacy and community partnerships.
