BABCOCK RANCH — Pulte Homes recently announced the construction of Northridge at Babcock Ranch, the newest Pulte Homes-branded community of new construction homes.

Babcock Ranch, on the Lee-Collier county border and billed as the country’s first solar-powered town, will be home to the 116-acre community with an expected 322 one- and two-story homes. Floor plans square footage will range from 1,400 to 4,600 square feet, according to a statement.

“Homebuyers at Northridge will benefit from Pulte’s seven-decade history of building exceptional, consumer-inspired homes,” says Richard McCormick, area president of PulteGroup’s Florida Divisions, in a press release. “Our floor plans can be customized and personalized to provide layouts and finishes desired by today’s homeowners, who will enjoy excellent communication with the Pulte team throughout the building process.”

Prices will start at around $200,000. The community will be located off Greenway Boulevard, just north of the Edgewater and Edgewater Shores neighborhoods. Babcock Ranch is located just northeast of Fort Myers. Northridge at Babcock Ranch is estimated to break ground on models and open for sale in late 2021.
