Wealth management firm appoints new managing director

NAPLES — Capital Wealth Advisors has named Stephen Smith managing director of portfolio management.

Smith will oversee trading and portfolio implementation of the firm’s investment strategies and their application to client accounts, according to a statement. He has more than 35 years of experience in portfolio management, security analysis and investment strategy for both individual and retail clients.
