Statewide law firm names new partners in region

SARASOTA — Business law firm Shutts & Bowen LLP has elevated six attorneys at the firm to partner, including two in Sarasota and Tampa. 

In Sarasota, Ashley Hodson is a member of the Private Client Services Practice Group. She focuses her practice on estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and estate and trust administration, according to a press release. She designs her clients’ estate plans to meet their personal and financial goals with an emphasis on family wealth transfer planning. She also has experience administering complex estates and trusts, including the preparation of federal estate tax returns, a statement says.
