Popular outlet mall plots reopening strategy

ESTERO— One of the largest shopping destinations in Southwest Florida, Miromar Outlets, is joining several other centers statewide in reopening May 4.

The plaza, according to a statement, will open for shopping, walking and dining in accordance per Gov. Ron DeSantis’ guidelines. “We know there are a lot of people who are looking forward to shopping, dining, walking around the mall and returning to some degree of normalcy,” says Jeff Staner, vice president and general manager of Miromar Outlets. “We have implemented a number of protocols to ease safety concerns.”
