Health plan company aims to fill 200 jobs in area

Humana Inc. wants to bolster the ranks of its call center staff in Tampa.

TAMPA — Health plan provider Humana Inc. plans to hire up to 200 additional inside sales agents at its Tampa office.

According to a press release, the positions will focus on national phone sales and enrollment assistance for the Louisville, Ky.-based company’s Medicare benefit plans and specialty products. They will be located at Humana’s newly renovated call center at 5701 E. Hillsborough Ave., a facility that boasts an onsite cafe, child care services and a fitness center.
