Airport announces debut service to Los Angeles, Seattle

Service to the west coast from Fort Myers International Airport begins in November.

FORT MYERS — Alaska Airlines will begin service at Fort Myers International Airport later this year, bringing the first nonstop flights to Los Angeles and Seattle.

The flights, to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) will operate four times weekly on a 737 aircraft, according to a statement. Service begins Nov. 20, the release adds.
