SVN Commercial Advisory Group agent Mike Migone has been named the Boston-based commercial real estate brokerage firm’s top performer in Florida for 2019.

The Sarasota-based SVN group also generated more transactional volume last year than any of the nine other SVN affiliates in Florida. Combined, the 10 firms topped more than $1 billion in deals in 2019 — the most since it opened in the state in 2008, just before the last decade’s lengthy economic recession.

Migone, who has been with the SVN practice for the past nine years, has more than a quarter century of commercial real estate experience. Prior to SVN, he worked at Premier Sotheby’s in Sarasota and Wedebrook Realty on Longboat Key.

“Since I came to SVN in 2011 it’s been quite an exciting ride, and I’m looking forward to the years to come,” Migone says.

In all, Migone completed 16 transactions in 2019 with a transactional volume of $42 million, including a land deal for a multifamily project on University Parkway in Sarasota County and a pair of industrial building sales in Sarasota.

In addition to Migone, SVN Commercial’s Gail Bowden — who returned to SVN last summer from a stint with MSC Commercial — and SVN Lotus broker Ashley Bloom were listed among the Top 10 agents in the network.

Bowden ranked second in transactional volume in Florida, while Bloom was No. 6 statewide for 2019.

In all, SVN maintains more than 200 locations in 500 markets.
