ESTERO — Pulte Homes, a higher-end, move-up buyer unit of national builder Pulte Group, is building a 59-home community in Southwest Florida featuring larger-than-normal open yards.

The private, gated community, in the Corkscrew corridor, is called Corkscrew Estates, according to a statement. It’s near other Pulte communities, including WildBlue, The Place at Corkscrew and Corkscrew Shores, the release adds, and Corkscrew Estates homesites are on nearly an acre.

One-and two-story single-family homes in the community will offer 2,853 to more than 5,000 square feet of living space, with up to six bedrooms and five bathrooms.  Pricing for homes and homesites are expected to be from the $700s to over $1 million, the release states.

“It is unique that we have the opportunity to offer a community as rare as Corkscrew Estates that affords homebuyers the opportunity to have it all – with larger homesites and spacious new home designs offering plenty of room for everyday life, and even more for entertaining,” PulteGroup Southwest Florida Division President Richard McCormick says in the statement.

Models are slated to be underway in spring, with a community grand opening scheduled for summer 2021.
