Veteran entrepreneurs to benefit from arrival of national nonprofit

Bunker Labs’ Tampa chapter will open on Sept. 26.

TAMPA — Bunker Labs, a national nonprofit that helps veterans start and operate businesses, will hold a grand opening for its Tampa chapter — the first in Florida — on Sept. 26.

The organization will be based at the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center, 2101 E. Palm Ave., Tampa. Its volunteer leadership team includes Immertec co-founder and Marine Corps veteran Erik Maltais, as well as 20-year Army veteran Bill Quigley and Valerie Lavin, CEO of Luminary Global, a Tampa-based medical supply firm.
