Restaurant chain eyes area for aggressive expansion

Captain D’s seeks to meet with potential franchisees in multiple Gulf Coast markets.

TAMPA — Captain D’s, a Nashville-based fast-casual seafood restaurant chain, has targeted Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota and Bradenton for franchise development.

According to a news release, the push for expansion in Florida comes on the heels of rapid growth in 2019, which saw the chain open its 30th restaurant in the Sunshine State.
