Area telehealth firm merges with Seattle language services company

CLEARWATER — Stratus Video, a provider of telehealth and remote interpreting services, has merged with InDemand Interpreting.

In a press release, the Clearwater-based company says the acquisition will help expand its offerings for patients who speak limited English or are deaf or hard of hearing. Adding Seattle-based InDemand’s suite of offerings will allow it to provide greater access to qualified interpreters via the latest in audio, video and geolocation technology.
