Survivor, entrepreneur named to cancer foundation board

FORT MYERS — A 23-year breast cancer survivor and entrepreneur, Debra Newman, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. She is the founder of PhotoMagicEvents, a photo booth rental company based in Fort Myers.

Founded in 1993, the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation began as a grassroots organization dedicated to ending breast cancer through advocacy, education and research.
