FORT MYERS — Commercial contractor Stevens Construction recently completed its third project for Elmquist Eye Group with the 7,200-square-foot interior renovation and exterior facade upgrade of its new location at 7970 Summerlin Lakes Drive. With the project complete, Elmquist moved from a former nearby location, according to a statement.

Stevens collaborated with health care facility design firm Practice Flow Solutions of Norcross, Ga., and Southview Studios of Fort Myers to design an expanded practice that promotes staff efficiency and patient convenience. The new space includes a procedure room, nine exam rooms, administration offices, staff lounge and an optical boutique, the release adds.

Previous projects for Elmquist Eye Group include completing its office in Cape Coral at the Shops at Surfside in 2009, and Hurricane Irma repairs at its prior Fort Myers location in 2017.

Based in Fort Myers with offices in Tampa and Orlando, Stevens Construction builds health care and hospitality facilities. Services include site and design team selection, budgeting, project scheduling, permitting, cost and quality control and warranty service.
