Former billion-dollar banker named CFO of hotel management firm

TAMPA — Hotel development and management firm McKibbon Hospitality has welcomed Joe Taggart as its new CFO.

Taggart comes to the Tampa-based firm — which works with iconic brands such as Marriott, Hilton Hyatt — from Valley National Bank and its predecessor, USAmeriBank, where he worked for 12 years as senior vice president and Florida commercial real estate manager. At Valley, he oversaw a CRE portfolio valued at more than $2.1 billion.
