High-rise independent living community plans expansion

Campo Felice in downtown Fort Myers will build an eight-story tower for assisted living and memory care residences.

FORT MYERS — A downtown Fort Myers riverfront high-rise independent living community will expand to include assisted living residences.

The community, Campo Felice, which opened in 2017 with 323 luxury all-inclusive apartments, will build an adjacent facility to provide assisted living and memory care support, according to a statement. The plan has been approved by the Fort Myers officials and the project is expected to break ground later this year.
