SARASOTA — Condominium tower development BLVD Sarasota announced Sean Murphy will open a "renewed replication" of his Beach Bistro restaurant as the on-site restaurant for BLVD.
The restaurant is expected to open when BLVD is complete at the beginning of 2020, according to a press release. Construction on the Core Development project is underway. BLVD is in the Rosemary District, near downtown Sarasota.
“BLVD will be the exciting new entrance to downtown Sarasota," Murphy says in the statement. "We’ll have a perfect location, right at the front door to everything Sarasota offers.”
The restaurant will reproduce Beach Bistro's menu and include new items. It will include fresh seafood from the Gulf of Mexico and meat selections from Florida ranches. The Bistro will also have a full bar.
Beach Bistro was repeatedly selected by Zagat as one of its “Top Restaurants in America,” the statement says.
BLVD residences range from 3,550 to 5,500 square feet. According to the release, the remaining units start at $1.9 million.
Core Development was founded in 1996. Its real estate projects include the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota Hotel, Condominium and Club Project and The Concession Golf Club and Residences.
