Health system expands cardiothoracic facility

FORT MYERS — Lee Health recently marked the opening of its expanded Shipley Cardiothoracic Center, a 13,290-square-foot addition at HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers.

Shipley provides a new phase for cardiothoracic care in Southwest Florida, featuring a new approach to the surgical treatment of heart and lung diseases with an emphasis on innovation, education and research, according to a statement.
