FORT MYERS — A Naples-based pre-construction firm has been awarded contracts for two high-profile building projects in Fort Myers. EHC, which provides earthwork and infrastructure services, has begun development of the MY Shower Door North American Headquarters/D3 glass manufacturing plant off Alico Road and Luminary Hotel on the downtown waterfront.

Contracted by Chris-Tel Construction, the MY Shower Door facility will house its corporate offices, training facilities and distribution activities, according to a statement. It will also be used by D3 Glass to manufacture, temper and laminate glass. The 7.5-acre campus will include a 60,000-square-foot multi-purpose building with the option to expand another 10,000 square feet. EHC is providing pre-construction, erosion control, clearing, pond excavation, import fill, earthwork, subgrade base and asphalt paving as well as site concrete including sidewalks and curbing, the statement adds.
