BONITA SPRINGS — Stevens Construction was recently awarded the construction management services contract for a new customer service building for Bonita Springs Utilities.

Fort Myers-based Stevens Construction plans to demolish the existing customer service building, at 11900 East Terry Street, Bonita Springs, according to a statement. It will then build a new 6,450-square-foot facility, scheduled for completion at the end of 2018. Since there are temporary facilities on-site, there will be no disruption in customer service during construction, the release adds.

This is the second project Stevens Construction has been awarded from Bonita Springs Utilities. The company completed a 19,000-square-foot, two-story, administrative building in 2017.

Stevens Construction has offices in Tampa, Fort Myers and Orlando. It had $44.7 million in revenues in 2017.
