Celebrity designer to leave mark on area condo tower project

“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” star joins Riverwalk project in Tampa.

TAMPA — Riverwalk Place, a 50-story, mixed-use tower planned for downtown Tampa, has landed Thom Filicia, star of the hit TV show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," as its interior designer.  

According to a press release, Filicia will design a range of interior spaces across the tower, including the look and feel of the residential entrances, lobby, condominium floor plans, residential fixtures and “sky lobby” on the 20th floor overlooking Tampa Bay.
