Health technology firm names new president

Joseph Scanlan will lead Tampa-based Enable Me.

TAMPA — Joseph Scanlan has been appointed president of Enable Me, a Tampa-based provider of technologically advanced movement therapy devices that help restore natural body movement in people suffering from neuromuscular injury or disease.

Scanlan, according to a press release, brings more than 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in leadership, marketing, sales, operations and personnel development to the Tampa-based company, which recently secured a five-year contract to supply mobility-enhancing products to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and health care giant Encompass Health, formerly known as Health South.
