Chicago contractor opens Tampa office

CHICAGO - Chicago-based general contractor Summit Design and Build LLC opened Summit Design and Build Southeast LLC in Tampa.

In a press release, the company says the expansion is a sign of the firm's continued growth. It also announced it hired Scott Hutchison to manage the new office, which is located in Tampa's Westshore business district.

Hutchison's title will be director of southeast construction for Summit Design and Build Southeast. He has more than 24 years' construction management experience. Previously, he served as senior project manager at Shawmut Design and Construction, where he spearheaded major construction projects in Miami, New York, Chicago and California.
