Best Buy exec named to Bloomin' Brands board

TAMPA — The Bloomin' Brands Inc. board elected Mike Mohan as a director of the Tampa-based franchise restaurant company, effective Oct. 20. Mohan will also serve on the compensation committee.

The appointment increases the size of the board to eight members, six of whom are independent.

Mohan serves as Best Buy's senior executive vice president and chief merchandising and marketing officer.
