Restaurant giant heads to Best Buy to expand board

TAMPA — The board of directors of Bloomin' Brands Inc. elected Mike Mohan as a director of the company, effective Oct. 20. Mohan will also serve on the Tampa-based restaurant company's compensation committee.

The appointment increases the size of the board to eight members, six of whom are independent.

Mohan serves as Best Buy's senior executive vice president and chief merchandising and marketing officer.
