FORT MYERS — Architecture firm Artefact Studio opened an office in the Brickell financial district of Miami.

Managing Principal Fabian Behague formed Artefact in 2013 in Fort Myers. According to a press release, the company handles projects throughout the Southeast U.S. It's designed buildings for corporate clients such as Chico's FAS, Gartner, NeoGenomics, Norman Love Confections and Shell Point Retirement Community.

“This expansion is a homecoming for me because I've had a hand in the creation and design of many projects ranging from buildings at the Port of Miami to some of city's finest parks,” says Behague in a statement.

Artefact interior designer Jackie Drake also has experience in the Miami area with the Cleveland Clinic campus in nearby Weston. Drake joined the firm in January and has 16 years of experience designing commercial interiors.

The firm provides building-design services including master planning, brand development, architecture, historic preservation and interior design.
