Insurance firm buys agency unit, adds 500 clients

FORT MYERS — Iron Ridge Insurance Services acquired the property and casualty insurance business of Zehner & Associates LLC.

The purchase encompasses approximately 500 clients, according to a statement. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Founded in 2011, Iron Ridge Insurance is an independent agency that provides consultative personal and commercial insurance programs. Its personal insurance division serves individuals and families with home, auto, liability and life insurance. Its commercial division serves a wide range of businesses, with a focus on health care and life sciences, architects and engineers, contractors and religious institutions.
