Consulting firm promotes principal engineer

FORT MYERS — TKW Consulting Engineers recently promoted Mike McGee to principal engineer and environmental/utilities engineering department manager.

McGee is a senior project manager at Fort Myers-based TKW, according to a statement. He has more than 25 years diversified civil engineering experience, with a focus on water, wastewater and reclaimed water projects. He's also an expert in horizontal directional drill and trenchless pipeline construction technologies, the company adds, and has designed numerous directional drills of water, reclaimed water and wastewater transmission pipelines throughout Southwest Florida.

TKW is run by former Florida State Rep. Trudi Williams, R-Fort Myers. The firm has offices in Tallahassee and Port Charlotte, in addition to its Fort Myers headquarters. It specializes in civil, structural and environmental engineering, including environmental assessments. The firm was founded in 1989.
