Global exec to join tech giant's board

CLEARWATER — Wholesale technology product distributor Tech Data Corp. nominated Karen Dahut to the company's board of directors.

Dahut will be included on the Clearwater-based company's proxy statement for election by shareholders, according to a press release. She is an executive vice president at management consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. Dahut leads the firm's Civil Commercial Group and is a member of the Executive Management committee. From 2012 to 2016, she was the company's chief innovation officer.

"Her global leadership experience in next-generation technologies, cybersecurity and data science are an ideal fit for some of Tech Data's most important strategic initiatives.
