Build-your-own-bowl restaurant Fresh Kitchen has teamed up with Covelli Family Limited Partnership to open more Fresh Kitchen locations in Florida.

Covelli Family Limited Partnership is an entity of Warren, Ohio-based Covelli Enterprises — the largest franchisee of Panera Bread stores in North America, with 300 locations in five states and Canada. Covelli Family Limited Partnership owns and operates 77 Panera locations in Florida.

Fresh Kitchen, a brand under Tampa-based Ciccio Restaurant Group, opened a location in Boca Raton in late March, the first restaurant under the new partnership and the first Fresh Kitchen in South Florida. Another new Fresh Kitchen location under the partnership is expected to open in the fall at Waterford Lakes Town Center in Orlando. The joint venture partnership will enable further growth in the state in the coming months. Terms of the partnership weren't disclosed.
