Accounting firm names new shareholder

TAMPA — Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gunn has elected Suzanne Cox to be a shareholder in the accounting and consulting firm, beginning Jan. 1.

Cox, who joined the firm in 2007 and has worked as a senior manager of its audit and assurance services department, becomes the practice's 16th shareholder, according to its website.

Cox, a Florida certified public account who also holds a construction industry technician designation, focuses primarily on auditing, accounting, taxation and consulting services for Saltmarsh's construction, manufacturing and technology clients.
