Does your company have a great story to share? Does it need money?
If the answer to either of those questions is yes, then the Florida Venture Forum has the solution. It's the 26th annual Florida Venture Capital Conference, scheduled for Feb. 2-3 at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando. The forum seeks 20-25 later stage companies to get in front of a national audience of venture capitalists, business professionals and private equity and angel investors. Florida-based companies receive priority review at the conference, according to a statement.
Based in Tampa, the Florida Venture Forum is one of the largest statewide support organizations for investors and entrepreneurs. Presenters at past Florida Venture Capital Conferences have raised about $3 billion in equity capital, the release adds. More than 500 people attended the 2016 Conference, including at least 200 private equity investors.
